We Love Straight Allies!

Dear Straight Allies:

You know how important it is for you to be out, right?

Srsly.

For example. For me, coming out was pretty easy. But that's because I was part of a group of friends who actively and vocally supported the gay community; I knew they wouldn't have a problem with it. But if I hadn't heard them talk about gay rights and such, I would have been a lot less comfortable. Having straight allies who are out and proud about it helps GLBT kids, too!

So, PFLAG has an awesome new project for you guys: Straight for Equality. My favorite part is the Guide to Being a Straight Ally, which is awesome and spiffy. So, check it out, wear rainbows, be loud! We appreciate it more than you know!
