Annoyed for a Good Cause

Have you been getting those annoying robocalls about your car warranty expiring lately?

I have. Frequently. Damn robocalls leave message on my phone in the middle of class about once a week. It sucks.

But I feel a bit better about it since I read this article about how Verizon is suing the telemarketers... and donating the settlement dollars to charity. Fifty-thousand dollars are going to the Joyful Heart Foundation, which is "devoted to empowering survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse."

Dude. If a few robocalls leads to $50k for survivors of sexual assault, bring on the annoying messages. Just not when I'm in class.
